Countersink Drill Bit Set In Stock Now

A countersink bit is used to create a countersink hole--i.e., a hole that has a tapered or funnel-like shape at the surface of the material that the hole is drilled in. The countersink bit has a cone-shaped end that creates the countersink shape, and a straight shank that fits into the drill. These bits are used in woodworking and metalworking when a screw head or other fastener needs to be recessed below the surface of the material.
